Beautiful sites over looking San Crista blend Lake.
Rustic campground in a spectacular setting above Lake San Cristobal. Road in is narrow and a bit rough but we saw some pretty big 5th wheels camped in the upper campground. Really a beautiful area with access to miles of hiking trails and ATV roads that reach all the way to Silverton CO. Pit toilets, water taps, no showers and the dump station is locked so it can only be accessed when the camp host is available.
Definitely one of the best views ever! Camp host is very friendly and helpful. He sells huge bundles of firewood with firestarter for $5. Definitely going back!
A wonderful county owned campground that over looks the lake.
Beautiful lakeside and wooded sites. Fairly close to town, but far enough to be away from the traffic. The ground is pretty rocky so tent stakes may be a problem. Use rocks.
